New Order

Live from Jodrell Bank: The Transmissions. These are a series of shows taking place in the shadow of the iconic Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank Observatory, Manchester. The Lovell Telescope allows for large format graphics to be projected onto its 250ft diameter dish. New Order required an accompanying projection whilst playingtheir stage set. The panel grid of the dish inspired the graphic overlay with a colour palette referenced from their album, Power, Corruption and Lies. The animation speed is synced to tone and rhythm of each respective track. The combination of structure, grid, colour and movement resulted in a visual synonymous to New Order.
