Yearn is a DAO (Decentralised Autonomous Organisation) financial platform. Its products are a collection of Decentralised Finance Protocols that run on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing users to optimise earnings on their crypto assets through lending and trading. In its first month of operation, the platform attracted close to $800m in assets, making it one of the fastest growing DEFI protocols to date. As a headless organisation with a healthy respect for creativitity it was clear that some guardrails were required to help channel the collective output. A new visual identity was created that spoke more about reach than previously about currency, and a modular flexible design structure was created that speaks to different audiences in ways that makes the most sense to them, from newbies to crypto natives.
