Overview
Orchestral Manoeurves in the Dark are
a group formed by Andy McCluskey and
Paul Humphreys.
‘The OMD Singles’ is a compilation album
of their greatest hits. Andy McCluskey’s
brief was to capture the band’s ethos,
‘human electric’, in one definitive image.
Human DNA scans were combined with colours from electrical diodes and painted
on to physically made models of human chromosomes.
